There are an abundance of golf courses in the area, including the championship courses at Wentworth and Sunningdale — little more than a half-hour drive away. If you want something a bit more low key and local, then Chiddingfold has a pretty, rural, pay and play course or there is the award-winning Cowdray Park club, nearby, set amidst the South Downs National Park.

Travel further west, and you’re in the historic city of Winchester and Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, and to the southeast you’ve got some great boutique shopping in the Lanes of Brighton.
